Cure for Tourette’s syndrome (tic disorder) and OCD without medication §19

The Kuriki method (the first edition in 2007) is a theory about Tourette’s syndrome (tic disorder) and obsessive-compulsive disorder to cure these diseases without medication. This theory is based on the author’s inference and interpretation regarding the structure of these diseases. Since it has been written for the psychoanalysts, reading will be difficult for people in general and it might be sometimes read erroneously. Therefore the Kuriki method must presuppose that the patient is treated by a nearby psychoanalyst, and that, between the patient and the Kuriki method, there is always the psychoanalyst. The explosion of emotional catharsis, which has strong repercussions, is done only for three seconds, once a week: beyond this rhythm, it would be an accident caused by negligence, and the psychoanalyst who is inexperienced in emotional catharsis must take responsibility for the temporary mental collapse caused by the accident. Also, to the patient who has weak capacity of logical reasoning, the psychoanalyst must explain well on the violent emotion of revenge caused by the illusory confusion between the person of the traumatic image in his head and the person in the real world.

§19

Localities of repressed bodily sensations on the body.

Opposition between two disagreeable bodily sensations, and amplification of identical locality.
As objects of the Conscious, the body parts have a positional attribute; the locality on the body. For example, by the « compulsive intramuscular sensation » in the abdominal muscles, the locality of the abdominal muscles becomes an object of the Conscious, and by the « compulsive intramuscular sensation » in a muscle of the mouth, the locality of this muscle of the mouth becomes an object of the Conscious. Also the primitive sensations such as the bladder, the anus and the genitals are objects of the Conscious with their positional attribute, if there is no repression. The disagreeable bodily sensation, which is an object of bodily repression, and the « compulsive intramuscular sensation » of tic disorder, which is a means of repression; each of them has its locality on the body. The « compulsive intramuscular sensation » of tic disorder and the disagreeable bodily sensation oppose each other positionally and repression is done in alternativity. Also, against disagreeable sensations throughout the body, such as cold winter wind, having drunk too much alcohol, etc., repression is done in the opposition between the whole body and the local part. The bodily repression is a mechanism, with which the Unconscious wants to repress disagreeable bodily sensations, and the result is not always perfect; normally disagreeable bodily sensations can not be reduced to zero.

On the other hand, in the upper layer, the Libido is indifferent to the positional attribute of each one of these bodily sensations. The Libido fabricates the « compulsive intramuscular sensation » of tic disorder on the body according to the rationalization only with the qualitative attribute and the quantitative attribute, and the Conscious watches these bodily sensations as adding positional attribute to them. Therefore, a disagreeable sensation can be first on the usual position of the « compulsive intramuscular sensation » of tic disorder.
· A shoulder tic of people who often have aches in the shoulders, a neck tic of people, whose neck is often tired, etc.
· The « compulsive intramuscular sensation » of tic disorder is an disagreeable bodily sensation, and it is an object of repression too. Amplification; when the repression of the disagreeable sensation of the « compulsive intramuscular sensation » of tic disorder is done by itself on the same position. Each « compulsive intramuscular sensation » of tic disorder amplifies itself recursively. (Recursive repressed sensation, §28).

When the « compulsive intramuscular sensation » of tic disorder is repression of primitive sensation such as the bladder, the anus and the genitals.
In the upper layer, each « compulsive intramuscular sensation » of tic disorder is a means of repression of an indefinite bodily sensation; e.g., the chair is hard, ate too much, back pain, tired legs, fatigue during a sporting activity, etc., etc. On the other hand, in the lower layer, the presence of the upper layer is a means of repression of the mass of emotion. The primitive sensations are in the upper layer as bodily sensations, but at the same time the primitive sensations have a signification in the lower layer. It is an issue in early childhood. It is that the psychic trauma is a trauma concerning a body part.

“Libido” is a term of psychoanalysis, and this term is interpreted in the treatments of neurosis. Those who do not know that this term is an expression only for the treatments of neurosis use it with a generalization. It does not make any sense for a healthy state of mind. It is not valid to say: “Libido exists in the human mind.” We should say: “The use of this word facilitates expressions in the methods of neurosis treatment.”

In the Kuriki method, the Libido is defined as energy at the intersection level of the bodily domain and the psychic domain. When the Libido manifests itself sexually, it will be recognized as sexual desire by the adult Conscious, but the energy of the Libido in itself is not limited to the signification as adult sexual desire. And even if the « compulsive intramuscular sensation » of tic disorder is a repression of the genital sensation, this « compulsive intramuscular sensation » of tic disorder in itself has no sexual signification of adult. Libido, sexual, genital organs; these words must be understood at the bodily level of small children. Also for adults, the Libido is bodily and psychic energy of small children. In the Conscious of small children, there is no connection between sexual desire and the genital organs: the connection between sexual desire and genital organs exists only at the libidinal level in the Unconscious. Psychological trauma is sexual and genital, and the repression of the mass of emotion is done by the repression of the primitive sensations such as the bladder, the anus and the genitals. The formation of the pathological mechanism of the « compulsive intramuscular sensation » of tic disorder, which represses indefinite disagreeable bodily sensations has its origin in the bodily repression of the primitive sensations. And the cause of this pathological repression of the primitive sensations is the repression of the mass of emotion.
