Second derivative.

Calculus is useful in many fields, for example electricity calculatation. In order to better understand the idea of the derivative, the following relationships can give you some images.

Volume and surface of sphere, variable: radius.
Area and circumference of circle, variable: radius.
Distance, speed and acceleration. variable: time.
etc.

Derivative of distance is velocity, derivative of velocity is acceleration. It wouldn’t be easy to imagine acceleration directly watching distance and time.

Second derivative is written like this. Why?

Derivation is the proportion of dy to dx, therefore dy divided by dx.
It makes a derivative dy’. That is tangent as a trigonometric function.

Why second derivative is written d2y / dx2 ?
We differentiate this y’ and get the second derivative y” .

dx2 means (dx)2
